A monument to Andrey Sheptytsky was solemnly opened in Lviv on July 29, on the 150th anniversary of his birth. Hundreds of people gathered in the square in front of St. George’s Cathedral, including Greek Catholic hierarchs, clergy, the Ukrainian President, representatives of city administration and regional officials, public figures.
